Testes | The gland that produces testosterone and sperm. |
Hypothalamus | The part of the brain that controls the pituitary gland. |
Adrenal | The gland that release a hormone involved in the fight or flight response. |
Thyroid | The endocrine gland that release a hormone to regulate the rate of metabolism. |
Parathyroid | The gland that regulates the levels of calcium and phosphorus. |
Fallopian Tubes | The structures that carry the released eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. |
Cervix | The name of the narrow opening from the uterus into the birth canal. |
Ovaries | The gland that stores the egg cells and releases estrogen and progesterone. |
Ovulation | The name for the process in which the ovaries release a ripened egg each month. |
Urethra | The name of the tube within the penis that carries semen to the outside of the body. |
Vagina | The birth canal, a hallow muscular passage, through which the baby passes out of the body. |
Uterus | The hallow, muscular, pear shaped organ where the fertilized egg will develop and grow into a baby. |
Circumcision | The name of the surgical procedure in which the foreskin is removed form the penis. |
Scrotum | The sac of skin that hold the testes is called the _______. |
Vas Defrens | The tube that receives sperm from the epididymis and carries it to the urethra. |
Epididymis | The gland where sperm mature and gain mobility. |
Penis | The external sexual organ through which sperm leave the body. |
Semen | The name of the fluid that is made up of sperm and secretions from three sets of glands. |
