What economic systems grew because of the Age of Exploration? | 1.)- Capitalism grew from people investing into things and trading and selling products from the New World across Europe and their colonies. This led to a market economy with supply and demand. Capitalism also led to small cottage industries in houses. |
What is mercantilism and how did it grow and affect Europe? | Mercantilism is an economic policy where countries try to get as much gold and silver as possible by controlling trade and having colonies. It grew when countries believed that the best way to get power was to amass as much wealth as possible with trade. |
