This is the Ephesians bible packet used to study for the test.

What did Paul urge the Ephesians to do at the beginning of Ephesians 4? He urged them to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which they had been called.
How did Paul describe the new self, which we should put on? The new self is created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
How does humility foster unity? If we regard our fellow believers as more important than ourselves, then we will do everything we can to build them up and to look after their needs, instead of competing with them for honor and praise.

What are the two main sections in Ephesians about? The 1st section is about doctrine, and the 2nd section is about practice.
What was Paul's purpose in writing Ephesians? He wrote Ephesians to encourage his audience to have the love of Christ for one another.
How does the spiritual discipline of confession within the body of Christ help us grow in holiness? This to another person brings unity in da body, especially when we confess to someone weve harmed This brings sin and the forgivenes of sin out in the open and keeps us accountable for our actions This helps us grow in humility, since we are being honest

What character trait is the deprivation of good? Evil
Why is isolation harmful? Isolation is harmful because God designed humans to love and need other humans and to thrive in community with others.
Why do we need to be united with our fellow believers? When we accept Christ, we become a part of His body, which means that we are part of the church. Therefore, in order to thrive and grow, we need to be united with members of the church.
