QuestionAnswer
CELL WALL Strong supporting layer around the cell membrane in plants.
CELL MEMBRANE A thin, flexible barrier around a cell and it determines what enters and leaves the cell.
NUCLEUS The center of the cell that contains protons and neutrons, holds DNA and controls the cell's activities.
RIBOSOME Proteins are made in this orginalle and Ribosomes also hold RNA.
LYSOSOME This organelle is full of enzymes which are needed to break down food and certain materials.
VACUOLE A vacuole stores materials like water, salt, proteins, and carbohydrates.
ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM Internal membrane system, lipids components of the cell are made and packaged here.
GOLGI BODY This is a stack of membranes which modifies, and packages proteins from the ER.
CYTOPLASM Material inside of the cell membrane.(not in nucleus)
CHLOROPLAST Found in cells of plants and some other organismsthat captures the energy from the sunlight and converts it into chemical energy.
