I always see my competitors’ Facebook ads, but I never see ours. Why is that? 1. Auction prices are too high right now and we are in need of more used inventory. I’m wanting to buy a “WE BUY CARS” domain to be competitive with other companies buying cars off the street. How can we include this in our marketing strategy? I wouldn’t recommend buying a “WE BUY CARS” domain because that market is already oversaturated and it is going to be expensive to compete in. It would be better to launch a Vehicle Acquisition campaign and do sales out of service.
When will you know if we need to increase or decrease? For paid search we look at impressions share loss to budget to determine if we need to increase budget and for social we look at frequency.
Our Facebook spend isn’t helping our sales. Why continue Facebook if the results are obviously not contributing to our sales? 1. Facebook is higher funnel - its for awareness and to keep your dealership at the top of customers mind 2. Facebook is consistently the first or second highest traffic driver to the website and 70% of that time is spent on the VDP
