Law of Conservation of Mass matter is never created or destroyed, just appears in different chemical compounds as they get recycled through Earth's various systems
Law of Conservation of Energy energy is not created or destroyed, simply transferred to different forms of energy
evaporation the process by which molecules at the surface of liquid water absorb enough energy to change to a gas
condensation the process of a gas changing to a liquid
precipitation rain, snow, sleet, hail
Water Cycle involves the process of evaporation, condensation and precipitation in a cycle from Earth's surface to the atmosphere and back
Carbon Cycle the process of carbon moving though ecosystems in various ways
Oxygen Cycle the process of oxygen moving through ecosystems in various ways
Nitrogen Cycle the process of nitrogen moving though ecosystems once it is "fixed"
Nitrogen Fixation combining nitrogen with other elements so that it is in a useable form
Carbon element essential for life as it is the building block of living things
2 Hydrogen Atoms and 1 Oxygen Atom makes up a water molecule
