Question | Answer |

Even Numbers | Numbers that end in 2, 4, 6, 8, or, 0 |
Prime Numbers | A number with no factors but 1 and itself Example: 7 |
Composite Numbers | A number with more than 2 factors Example: 12 |
Expression | A math sentence without an equal sign Example: 3+8+a |
Equations | A math sentence with an equal sign Example: 3+8+a=20 |
Variable | A letter that stands for a number Example: 3x = 9, x is a variable |
Coefficient | A number right beside a variable. It means you multiply. Example : 4x=8, 4 is the coefficient |
Term | Anything separted by plus or minus signs. Example: 5x + 6y - 9; 5x, 6y, and 9 are all three terms |
Outlier | A number that doesn't fit with the others. Example: 99, 97, 100, 92, 34; 34 is an outlier |
Additive Identity Property | Says that any number plus zero is still that number Example: 3 + 0 still equals 3 |
Multiplicative Identity Property | Says that any number times one is still that number. Example: 3 X 1 still equals 3 |
