Who is: John P. Eckert and John W. Mauchly? Inventors of "ENIAC" (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Calculator) in 1946.
Who is: John von Neumann? Created the "Stored-Program Technique," and the "von Neumann Computer Model."
Who is: Lee de Frost Created the triode in 1906 which was used in early computers.
Who is: John Bardeen, Walter Brattain, and William Shockley? Inventors of the transistor in 1948. (Received a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1956.)
Who is: Jack Kilby and Robert Noyce? Co-Creators of the Integrated Circut (IC) between 1958 and 1959.
What is: a semiconductor?
