A federally addid, state operated, and state administered program that provides medical benefits for certain low income persons in need of health and medical care is known as medicaid
A state child health program that operates with federal grant support under Title V of the social security act that insures children from low income familys also known as MCHP state childrens health insurance program (SCHIP)

A program of prevention that covers screening and diagnostic services to determine physical or mental defects in recipients younger 21 years of age and health care, treatment, and other measures to correct or ameliorate any defects and chronic conditions early and periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment (EPSDT)

A type of copayment requirement that is the amount the patient must pay each month before he can be eligible fot medicaid, also called liability or spend down is called share of cost
A type of copayment requirement in some states that require a small fixed copayment to the provider is at the time the service is rendered
An organization under contract to the state to process claims for a state medicare program, insurance carriers handling claims from physicians and other suppliers of service for medicare part B. also known as medicare administrative contractor is called fiscal agent
