What is making Ralph feel guilty? Ralph feels guilty about his involvement in Simon's death.
What injuries did Samneric suffer from the night before? Samneric suffered a scraped forehead and a split lip while they were attacking Simon.
What is Robert's job? Robert's job is to stand guard at Castle Rock and question anyone who approaches.
What weapons does Jack's tribe have to protect the entrance of Castle Rock? Jack's tribe has a large bolder at the top of Castle Rock that is positioned to fall down on anyone who approaches.
What does Robert tell Roger that Jack is going to do? Robert tells Roger that Jack is going to take the boys hunting and that he is going to beat one of the other boys who broke the rules.
What does Ralph recall hearing from Simon and seeing in the sky? Ralph recalls hearing Simon say something about a parachutist.
What do Ralph, Piggy, Samneric decide about the fire? The boys in Ralph's tribe decide that they will not keep the fire going at night because they do not have enough people to guard it.
What does Jack steal? Jack steals Piggy's glasses when they attack the shelter.
What happens while Piggy, Ralph and Samneric sleep in the shelter? Jack and his tribe attack Ralph's tribe while they are sleeping in their shelter.
