Maltase | Intestinal Glands | Hydrolyzes maltose to two glucose monomers |
Sucrase | Intestinal Glands | Hydrolyzes sucrose to glucose and fructose |
Lactase | Intestinal Glands | Hydrolyzes lactose to glucose and galactose |
Trypsin | Pancreas | Hydrolyzes specific peptide bonds. Converts chymotrypsinogen to chymotrypsin |
Chymotrypsin | Pancreas | Hydrolyzes specific peptide bonds |
Carboxypeptidase | Pancreas | Hydrolyzes terminal peptide bonds at carboxyl end |
Aminopeptidase | Intestinal Glands | Hydrolyzes terminal peptide bonds at the amino end |
Dipeptidases | Intestinal Glands | Hydrolyzes pairs of amino acids |
Enterokinase | Intestinal Glands | Converts trypsinogen to trypsin |
Bile | Liver | Emulsifies fat |
