right angle | An angle whose measure is exactly 90 degrees. |
acute angle | An angle whose measure is < 90 degrees. |
supplementary angle | Two angles are supplementary if the sum of their measures is 180 degrees. |
corresponding angel | Angles that occupy corresponding positions When a line intersects two other lines. When a line intersects two parallel lines, corresponding angles are congruent. |
complementary angle | Two angles are complementary if the sum of their measures is 90 degrees. |
congruent angles | Angles of the same measure. |
verticle angles | When two lines meet at a point, the opposite angles. |
adjacent angles | Two angles on a flat surface that share a common side and a vertex and do not overlap. |
plane | A flat surface that extends without end. |
acute triangle | A triangle with 3 acute angles. |
right triangle | A triangle with a 90 degree angle. |

isosceles triangle | A triangle with two congruent sides |
equilateral triangle | A triangle with three congruent sides. |
scalene triangle | A triangle with no congruent sides |
diagonal line | A segment, other than a siide, that connects two vertices of a polygon. |
perpendicular lines | Lines which meet to form four right(90 degree) angles |
intersecting lines | Two lines that meet at a point. |
parallel lines | Two lines which never intersect |
hexagon | A polygon with six sides |
pentagon | A polygon with five sides |
