What are comets? | Orbit the sun and are made up of frozen gases. The comet’s tail always points away from the sun because of the solar wind (radiating heat waves) |
What are meteoroids? | left over pieces of a comet’s tails floating in space. Meteor is when the pieces enter the Earth’s atmosphere where the burn up. Occasionally a Meteor will strike the Earth, then it is called a Meteorite |
