MMT scale, description of grade

2+ Part moves through incomplete ROM (<50%) or complete ROM Incomplete ROM against gravity; complete ROM gravity decreased against slight resistance poor plus considered below functional range, but pt can perform some ADL with mechanical assistance and ROM can be maintained independently
3 Parts move through complete ROM Against gravity fair can move parts against gravity and perform light tasks that present little or no reisistance
3- Parts move through incomplete ROM (>50%) Against gravity fair minus
3+ Parts move through complete ROM with slight resistance Against gravity fair plus has low endurance and fatugues more easilty than one with G or N. Can perform ADL's independently but may require frequent rest periods
4 Parts move through complete ROM with moderate reistance Against gravity good had good endurance, can perform all ordinary ADL without undue fatigue
