Bill of Rights

1-10 Amendments

TermDefinition
1st Amendment Protects Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Assembly, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of The Press, and Freedom to Petition.
2nd Amendment Protects the right to bear arms (Own Weapons).
3rd Amendment The government cannot force you to house soldiers.
4th Amendment The right against unreasonable searches
5th Amendment Cannot try a person more than once for the same crime
6th amendment Protects the right to a free trial
7th Amendment Protects the right to a jury
8th Amendment a person cannot bail someone out unless their reason is reasonable to make the person to be bailed bailed out.
9th Amendment People have more rights than the constitution
10th amendment States have power to pass additional laws and amendments.
