QuestionAnswer
Where did it begin? Central Asia possibly China.
Where did it spread? China, India, Europe, Silk Road, Italy, north/west, Europe, England.
What were the symptoms? fever, vomiting, coughing , sneezing, swelling, and bumps.
What contributed to the spread of the plague? dirty conditions
How did this affect the Jews? Why? Jews were blamed. This led to Jews being persecuted and forced to leave the city.
What did the plague do to the population of Europe? What percent of population died? 24000000 Europeans died. China's population decreased by half. 33% of the world died.
How did the plague affect the feudal system? need for workers was high. there were fewer workers due to plague. peasants moved to different cities for better jobs.
What was the English peasants war? peasants entered London and presented their demands for more rights to King Richard II.
