Applying Fractions

| formula | an equation that shows a relationship among certain quantities |
| gallon | a customary unit of capacity equal to four quarts |
| multiplicative inverse | the product of a number and this is 1 |
| ounce | a customary unit of weight/ 16 of these equal 1 pound |
| perimeter | the distance around a closed geometric figure |
| pint | a customary unit of capacity equal to two cups |
