1.What is a monochromatic color scheme? Tints and shades of one color.
2. What is an analogous color scheme? Three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. (neighbors)
3. What is an accented neutral color scheme? Neutral color scheme with a "pop" of one color.
4.What color scheme is 2 colors opposite on the color wheel. Complimentary color scheme
5. How many colors in a split complemetary color scheme? Three colors; any color and the two colors that are located next to that color's compliment
6. Name the Primary colors. Red, Blue, and Yellow
7. Name the secondary colors. Violet, Green, Orange
8. What is the value of a color? How dark or light a color is. Tints- Light Shades- Dark
9. What is the intensity of a color mean? How bright or dull a color is.
10. What is the hue? Hue refers to the color itself because different hues have different wavelengths of light.
11. How do you make a tint? By adding white to your color.
12. How do you make a shade? By adding black to your color.
13. What are the warm colors? red, Orange, Yellow (sun)
14. What are the cool colors.? Blue, Green, Violet (ocean)
15. What are the neutral colors? Black, Grey, White, Brown, Tan
16. What is unique about the primary colors? You cannot achieve tem by mixing any of the other colors together.
17. Name 3 tertiary colors. Red-Violet, Blue-Green, and Yellow-Orange
18. What is the proper way to name a tertiary color? Primary first, secondary next.
19. What is another name for a tertiary color? Intermediate
20. What is a triadic color scheme? Three colors that are located within equal distance of each other.
