Half Note In 4/4 time, this note gets two beats of sound
Whole Note In 4/4 time, this note gets four beat of sound
Quarter Rest In 4/4 time, this rest gets one beat of silence.
Half Rest In 4/4 time, this rest gets two beats of silence.
Whole Rest In 4/4 time, this rest gets four beats of silence.
Eighth Note In 4/4 time, this note will get 1/2 of a beat of sound
Eighth Rest In 4/4 time, this rest will get 1/2 of a beat of silence
