The Health Services Division – Responsible for providing medical services to the inmate population | at all three facilities, including a 24–hour clinic, psychological and dental treatment |
In addition to providing administrative | support and operations the Jails Division provides |
Security/Intelligence Unit – Responsible for the management of special needs | and/or maximum security inmates; background checks of persons requesting facility access; breath test operator certification, expert testimony and other security related functions |
Classification Unit – Responsible for ensuring that each inmate is properly classified | and housed according to the classification process and the inmate population at all three facilities reports |
Support Services Unit – Responsible for providing a liaison for facility And | building maintenance issues and managing sanitation and receiving area services; administratively reviews property issues and coordinates property inventories; and provides review of commissary contract and bond accountability functions |
Transportation Unit – Responsible for security guard contracts; federal inmate billing | Jails Division fleet, weekday court and special transportation of inmates; all intrastate and interstate prisoner extradition; and prisoner transportation for medical and psychiatric evaluations |

The Jacksonville Reentry Center | (JREC) provides |
“Portal of Entry” – a one stop shop whereby ex–offenders returning from local, state or federal incarceration | can be provided assistance for successful reentry into our community |
“Dismas” – This program is designed to address the needs of Offenders | who have been or are at risk of being involved in crimes of violence |
