It is the policy of this organization that no employee of , or applicant to, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is to be discriminated against
on the basis of race, color, sex, political affiliation , religion, national origin, age, handicap or marital status
All employees are entitled to work in an environment free of offensive or disparaging conduct
Therefore, it is the policy of this department to strictly prohibit any conduct by its employees which defames or demeans the nationality, culture, color, creed, belief, or sex of any person
It is the policy of this organization to encourage those who think they may be victims of discrimination or harassment to report such incidents
