The Close Supervision/Direct Observation Officer will comply with all applicable policies and procedures of the Sheriff's Office including DOC Written Directives
The Close Supervision/Direct Observation Officer will be thoroughly familiar with the Sheriff's Mission Statement and Core Values
The Close Supervision/Direct Observation Officer will be selected based on certain criteria that includes completion of probationary period, experience, and suitability for the population
Prior to assuming his assigned duties the Close Supervision Officer will
Make a complete security inspection of his area of responsibility with the Close Supervision Officer he is relieving

Ensure all discrepancies found during the inspection are corrected
