job terms and letter parts

application letter a cover letter that introduce you to a potential employer and gives you a chance to sell your qualification
letter address the part of the letter that contains the name and address of the person or company to whom you are writting
body the message section of letter
resume' begin to do or pursue (something) again after a pause or interruption
experience knowledge and skills acquired from working in a career field
thank you letter a letter that is used when one person/party wishes to express appreciation to another.
employment application A preprinted from that must be filled out when applying for employment
return address the address of the person sending the message.
reference letter very specific in nature and normally requested and always addressed to an individual, whereas a letter of reference is more general in nature and usually addressed "to whom it may concern".
reference the action of mentioning or alluding to something.
salutation a gesture or utterance made as a greeting or acknowledgment of another's arrival or departure.
complimentary closing a courteous phase used to end a letter
personal information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.
interview a meeting of people face to face, especially for consultation.
scannable resume' that scans the content of a paper document as a graphic image and then converts it back to tex
education
