Atrticle of Confederation The first constitution of the U.S., adopted in 1781- replaced in 1789.
Confederation A system of government where power is located with the Independent stateside there is little power in the centeral government.
Constitutional Convention A meeting in Philadepha in 1787, where delegates decided to throw out Articles of Conferation and draft the Constitution.
Debt Something owned; such as money.
Shay's rebellion An event when 2000 Massachusetts farmer rebelled against land forclosures and debt from the Revoluationary War.
