Amendments

The Ten Amendments

TermDefinition
Amendment 1 Freedom of speech, religion, and to assemble.
Amendment 2 Freedom of owning a gun.
Amendment 3 No persons/cop shall enter a home with out consent of the owner.
Amendment 4 Freedom to privacy in their own homes and not in public places.
Amendment 5 If in trail you can't incriminate yourself and they can't charge you for one thing twice after bail.
Amendment 6 You have the right to testify in a fair trail.
Amendment 7 If person sues another preson for more than $20 a Jury is needed.
Amendment 8 "Bail" is not required.
Amendment 9 People shall not loses rights even if not on Constition.
Amendment 10 Protects rights to states and people against the federal government.
Amendment 11 If a citizens or a foreign is prosecuted against the United State that Judicial power must be settled in a state court not in a federal court.
Amendment 12 Electors shall have prohibits for voting for two candidates (president and vice president) from their own state.
Amendment 13 Slavery shall end 1.Congress shall enforce this with appropriate legislation.
Amendment 14 1.If born in the United States you are therefore a citizen 2.States representatives ratio is determined by the ratio of citizens in that state 3.No person shall be a part of the federal government if have served as a part of Congress
Amendment 14 Part 2 4.Debts shall not be questioned 5. Congress shall have the power to enforce with the power of a appropriate legislation.
Amendment 15 Right to vote and Congress shall have to enforce this Amendment.
Amendment 16 Congress shall have the power to enforce taxes.
Amendment 17 Senate shall have two Senators from each state, s state shall have a election for a Senate, and this amendment shall be enforce in the election process.
Amendment 18 Prohibited the sale of alcoholic and the transportation of alcoholic.
Amendment 19 Citizens shall the power/freedom to vote and not to be discounted by sex and Congress shall have the power to enforce this.
Amendment 20 To shorten the time for the president and Vice President time, Congress shall meet once a year, if the president dies the vice we'll take over that role, if a presidential candidate dies during election a Congress shall have the power to pass legislation.
Amendment 21 The 18th shall be nullified and the transportation of alcoholic beverages shall be unlawful.
Amendment 22 Presidential persons shall only serve for two terms.
Amendment 23 People in the District of Columbia shall have the right to vote.
Amendment 24 Citizens shall pay a "Poll Tax".
Amendment 25 If the President shall die or resigns the vice president shall take over, the president is in charge off the vice president election in vacancy, the congress must have consent of replacing of the president, the vice president shall still take over still
Amendment 25 Part 2 without consent.
Amendment 26 Age eighteen of age and old shall have the right to vote and Congress shall have the right to enforce this.
Amendment 27 Any raise in salaries in Congress shall be taken effect at the session of Congress.
