Channel Theory 2
meridian flow starting with Urinary Bladder
Question | Answer |
---|---|
this channel begins at the inner canthus of the eye | U. Bladder |
and ascends across the Forehead, intersecting the Du channel at point Du-24 and the Gall Bladder channel at point GB-15 | Bladder |
it then crosses to the vertex & again intersects the Du channel at point Du-20 | Bladder |
Branch: From here, a branch descends to the area above the Ear, joining the Gall Bladder channel at point GB 7, GB 8, GB 12 | Bladder |
Branch: A vertical branch enters the brain at the vertex & intersects with the Du channel at point Du-17, before emerging & descending along the nape of the neck & the muscles of the medial aspect of the scapula | Bladder |
Here, the Bladder channel meets the Governing channel at points Du 14 & Du 13, after which it continues downward, parallel to the spine, to the lumbar region | Bladder |
The channel then enters the internal cavity via the paravertebral muscles, communicates with the Kidneys, & finally joins its associated organ, the ? | Bladder |
another branch | Bladder |
Yet another branch from the main channel at the back of the neck & descends, parallel to the spine, from the medial side of the scapula to the gluteal region | Bladder |
Here it crosses the buttock to intersect the Gall bladder chanel at point GB- | BLadder |
continuing downward through the gastrocnemius muscle, the channel emerges behind the external malleolus, then follows the 5th metatarsal bone, crossing the tuberosity to the lateral tip of the little toe at point ?-67 | Bladder |
According to Chapter 4 of the Spritual Axis, the ? channel connects behind the knee with its lower He-sea point ?-54 | Bladder |
This channel begins beneath the little toe, crosses the sole of the foot, emerges on the inferior aspect of the navicular tuberosity at the instep (arch of the foot). | Kidney |
From here, it travels posterior to the medial malleolus, enters the heel, and proceeds upward along the medial aspect of the lower leg | Kidney |
It intersects the Spleen channel (Sp 6) | Kidney |
continuing up the leg within the gastrocnemius (calf) muscle, the channel traverses the medial aspect of the poplitial fossa (crease of posterior aspect of knee at medial side). | Kidney |
and ascends the medial, posterior aspect of the thigh to the base of the spine where it intersects the Du channel (Du 1) | Kidney |
Here, it threads its way beneath the spine to enter the Kidneys and communicate with the Bladder | Kidney |
It intersects the Ren Channel 4 and 3 cun elow the umbilicus (belly button at Ren 3 and 4, respectively. | Kidney |
Branch: a branch ascends directly from the Kidneys, internally, crosses the ? and ?, enters the Lung and follows to the throat to the root of the tongue | (Kidney channel); Liver; diaphragm |
another branch separates in the Lung, connects to the Heart, and disperses in the ? | (Kidney channel); chest |
The Kidney primary channel connects with the following zangfu: (hint: 5) | Kidney, Bladder, Liver, Lung, Heart |
starts from the ulnar side of the tip of little finger, follows the ulnar side of the dorsum of the hand | Small Intestine |
emerges from the styloid process of the ulnar and reaches the wrist, ascends along the posterior lateral side of the arm | Small Intestine |
goes between the olecranon of the ulna and medial epicondyle of the humerus to the posterior side of the shoulder, and curves around the scapular region to C-?, winding back to supraclavicular fossa | Small Intestine; 7 |
passes along the sophagus to the heart, then diaphragm, and reaches the ? , finally enters the ? , its pertaining organ | Stomach, Small intestine |
a branch from supraclavicular fossa ascends to the neck and ?, and outer canthus and enters the ?. | cheek; ear (Small Intestine) |
another branch fro the neck runs upward to the infraorbital region and to the lateral side of the nose | Small intestine |
(branch ends by) enters the inner canthus to link with the ? channel | Bladder ; (Small intestine) |
the small intestine channel connects with the following zangfu: (hint: 3 organs) | Heart, Stomach, Small Intestine) |
This channel begins in the chest where it joins the ? | Pericardium; same |
it then descends across the diaphragm and into the abdomen, where it connects successively with the upper, middle, and lower jiao's of the Triple Burner, its paired organ | Pericardium |
a branch of the main channel runs along the chest, emerging superficially in the costal region at ? 1, 1 cun lateral to nipple and ? cun below axillary fold (crease of arm pit) | P; 3; Pericardium |
It then ascends to the inferior aspect of the axilla | Pericardium |
from here, it descends along the medial aspect of the upper arm between the paths of the Lung and ? channels to the antecubital fossa (medial depression opposite side of elbow) | Heart; Pericardium |
it proceeds down the forearm between two tendons-palmaris longus and Flexor carpi radialis muscles | Pericardium |
entering the palm, it follows the ulnar aspect of the middle finger until it reaches the finger tip | Pericardium |
Branch: separating from the main channel in the palm-it proceeds to lateral aspect of the 4th finger to tip | Pericardium |
The Pericardium channel connects with the following zangfu: (hint: 2) | Sanjiao, Pericardium |
This channel originates at the ulnar side of the tip of the little finger and ascending along the ulnar side of the Hand to the Wrist, emerging at: the Styloid process of the Ulna | Small Intestine |
From here, it travels directly upward along the posterior aspect of the ulna, passing between the olecranon of the ulna and the medial epicondyle of the Humerus at the medial side of the elbow | Small Intestine |
it then proceeds along the posterior border of the lateral aspect of the upper arm | Small Intestine |
emerging behind the shoulder joint circling around the superior & inferior fossa of the scapula | Small Intestine |
at the top of the shoulder, it crosses the ? channel at points ?-36 & ?-11, & at the Governing channel at Du-? | Bladder, B; B; 14; (Small Intestine) |
Where the channel turns downward into the supraclavicular fossa. and connects with the Heart | Small Intestine |
From here, it descends along the esophagus, and crosses the diaphragm to the Stomach | Small Intestine |
Before reaching its associated organ, the ? , the channel intersects the Conception Channel internally, and very deep, at points Ren-13 and Ren-12 | Small Intestine |
Branch: a branch of this channel travels upward from the supraclavicular fossa & crosses the neck & cheek to the outer canthus where it meets the ? channel at ?-1 | Bladder; (Small Intestine) |
Begins at the ulnar aspect of the tip of the ring finger and runs between the fourth and firth metacarpal bones along the dorsum of the hand | San jiao |
traverses the forearm between the radius and the ulna (between the Large and Small Intestine channels) | San Jiao |
contiues through the olecranon (elbow) and continues up the lateral aspect of the upper arm to the shoulder where it intersects the SI channel at SI-12 | San Jiao |
travels towards the spine where it intersects the Governing vessel at Dazhui Du-14-point of all the ? channels | Yang; (San Jiao) |
it then ascends laterally to the highest point of the shoulder (where it intersects the Gall Bladder channel-GB21) and descends anteriorly into the supravclavicular fossa at where it then disperses midway between the breasts (at Ren-?) | 17; San Jiao |
as it travels the chest it connects with the Pericardium then descends through the diaphragm to the abdomen linking along its pathway the upper, middle, and lower jiao | San Jiao |
