| Where and why was Anne's family in hiding? | They were escaping the Nazi invasion. They moved from Germany to the Netherlands (Holland). In July 1942, they went into hiding in a secret attic apartment. It was on the top floor of a building Mr. Frank had used as a warehouse and business office. |
