Unit 6 Business words definitions

Administration Definition. the management of any office, business, or organization.
Business Definition. an occupation, profession, or trade
Consumer definition. a person who gets or uses goods or services
Efficiency definition. accomplishment of completing a job with minimum use of time and effort
Entrepreneurship definition. the owner or manager of a business enterprise who, by risk and initiative, attempts to make profits
Evaluate definition. to judge or determine the significance, worth, or quality of
Industry definition. manufacturing, producing, or providing in a particular area
Marketing definition. all activities involved in transfer of goods from producer to consumer
Producer definition. person who creates or provides a good or service
Profits definition. monetary gain through business
Spreadsheet definition. worksheet that contains analysis of related entries created for easy reference on a single sheet
Strategy definition. plan or method for obtaining a specific goal or result
Business plan definition. a detailed plan setting out the objectives of a business, the strategy and tactics planned to achieve them, and the expected profits, usually over a period of three to ten years
