Food Chain A food chain shows how matter and energy move through an ecosystem in a series of steps showing which organisms transfer energy by eating and being eaten.
Food Web A food web is a model that shows all the feeding relationships at each trophic level in a community. (Links all food chains in an ecosystem together)
Sun's Role in Food The sun gives energy to producers which then get eaten and pass on energy form the sun to the next organism and so on and so on.
Energy Pyramid An energy pyramid is a pyramid that shows how the energy is passed on from one animal to the other and how much is left.
Symbiosis Symbiosis is how organisms interact with each other.
Mutualism Mutualism is when both organisms get a positive result because of the symbiosis,
Commensalism Commensalism is when one organism comes out with a positive result but the other organism isn't affected at all because of the symbiosis.
Parastism Parasitism is when one organism gets a positive result and the other organism is harmed or dies because of the symbiotic relationship.
