TermDefinition
Hardcore formerly called hardcore techno, is a subgenre of electronic dance music originating in Europe from the emergent raves in the 1990s.
heavy metal They may differ in terms of: instrumentation, tempo, song structure, vocal style, lyrics, guitar playing style, drumming style, and so on.
Electronica This is an umbrella term that encompasses a broad group of electronic-based styles such as techno, house, ambient, drum and bass, jungle, and industrial dance, among others.
Trance This is a genre of electronic music that developed during the 1990 in Germany. It is characterized by a tempo lying between 125 to mid 140 beats per minute , repeating melodic phrases.
Folk Punk This is a fusion of folk music and punk rock. It was popularized in the early 1980s by The Pogues in Britain, and by Violent Femmes in the United States
Indie Rock This is a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United Kingdom in the 1980. Indie rock was extremely diverse, with subgenres that include indie pop, jangle pop, and lo-fi, among others
Hardcore punk This is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970. This music is generally faster, heavier, and more abrasive than regular punk rock.
