Executive Office of the President (EOP) | A complex organization consisting of several separate agencies that are staffed but the Presidents advisers and assistants |
Federal budget | A detailed financial document containing estimates of federal income and spending during the coming fiscal year |
Fiscal year | The 12 month period used by businesses and the government for financial management purposes, such as record keeping and budgeting |
Domestic affairs | All of the matters that are not directly connected to the area of foreign affairs |
