apprenticeship Learning a trade while working as a skilled employee.
articulation agreements Contracts between a high school and a college for coursework.
associate degree A degree usually completed in two or more full-time years.
bachelor's degree College or university degree that takes an average of six years to complete.
career and technical high school Specialized career training in high school.
career preparation Education and training options.
certificate Document that is proof of completion of necessary career skills.
college prep courses High school courses that help with post-secondary education.

co-op programs Combine high school courses with paid work experience.
dual credit Advancing credit taken for both high school and college credit.
