What does SARA mean? S-SCANNING A-ANALYSIS R-REPONSE A-ASSESSMENT
What are some sources of conflict? Change, conflicting goals and objectives, limited resources, personality differences and etc.
What are the five ways to deal with conflict? Withdrawal ,smoothing over ,forcing ,bargaining and problem solving.
mention some roadblocks language ,preconceptions ,lack of common experiences ,responses to physical differences differing values ,beliefs, on-verbal communication ,communication styles and interpersonal and spatial relationship.
what are overcoming isms? look for a common ground ,enjoy other cultures ,respectfully ask questions, slow down and take your time to know the person ,learn proper wording, become aware of sensitivities and don't dismiss sensitivity.
