evidence from climate | remains from tropical plants have been found in the Arctic Ocean; deep scratches from glaciers have been found in South Africa. |
evidence from landforms | mountain ranges in Africa and South America line up when looking at maps pieced together. |
Wegener | the name of the scientist who formed the hypothesis that the continents had once been joined together and have since moved apart. |
