Grade II Sprain (ligament) | Moderate pain and swelling, Min - mod tear, Minimal instability of the joint, Decreased ROM |
Grade III Sprain (ligament) | Severe pain and swelling, total tear, substantial jt. instability & decrease of ROM |
Strain | Ligaments are overstretched. |
