Benefits Something beneficial to you (some good).
Compensation A reward (usually cash) for your time and work.
diversity different people with different traits, characteristics etc
downsizing A planned reduction in the # of employees needed in a firm in order to reduce cost and make the business more efficient.
glass ceiling An artificial limit placed on minority groups moving into positions of authority and decision making.
incentive systems the amount of compensation connected to the equality or quantity of an employee performance.
Job analysis a specific study of a job to identity in detail the job duties and skill requirements.
labor union An organized group of employees who negotiate with employers about issues such as wages and working conditions.
organizational culture the environment in which people work made up of the atmosphere.
Outscorching removing work from one company and sending it to another company that can complete it at lower cost.
Promotion to advance an employee job status.
termination The end of an employment relationship between a company and an employee
transfer the assignment of an employee to another job in the company with a similar level of responsibility.
Salary 'n Wages direct payment to an employee
work environment the physical conditions and the psychological atmosphere in which employees work
work force all of the people 16 years or older who are employed or who are looking for a job.
