3 government and 3 citizen participation terms

TermDefinition
Unitary One person or group is in charge of the government
Confederate Small groups control the government
Federal Power is handed down from a large national government to smaller local governments
Autocracy Citizens in this system often have little or no power
Oligarchy In this system, wealthy groups of people usually control society
Democracy Citizens of this system are allowed to live as they please, but must obey laws
Citizen a person who belongs to a place such as a country
Participation to take part
