Kidney Channel

Kidney Channel Point Locations Per Deadman

KD-1 YǑNGQUǍN On the sole of the foot, between the second an third metatarsal bones, approximately one third of the distance between the base of the second toes and the heel, in a depression formed when the foot is plantarflexed.
KD-2 RÁNGǓ On the medial side of the foot, distal and inferior to the medial malleolus in the depression distal and inferior to the navicular tuberosity.
KD-3 TÀIXĪ In the depression between the medial malleolus and the Achilles tendon, level with the prominence of the medial malleolus
KD-4 DÀZHŌNG Approximately 0.5 cun posterior to the midpoint of the line drawn between Taxi KID-3 and Shuiquan KD-5, on the anterior border of the Achilles tendon.
KD-5 SHUǏQUÁN 1 cun inferior to Taxi KD-3 in a depression anterior and superior to the calcanea tuberosity (the site of insertion of the Achilles tendon into the calcaneum)
KD-6 ZHÀOHǍI 1 cun below the prominence of the medial malleolus in the groove formed by two ligamentous bundles
KD-7 FÙLIŪ On the medial aspect of the lower leg, in the depression 2 cun superior to Taxi KD-3, on the anterior border of the Achilles tendon
KD-8 JIĀOXÌN On me medial aspect of the lower leg, 2 cun superior to Taxi KD-3, and 05 cun anterior to Fuliu KD-7, posterior to the medial border of the tibia
KD-9 ZHÚBĪN On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 5 cun superior to Taxi KD-3, on the line drawn between Taxi KD-3 and Yingu KD-10, about 1 cun posterior to the medial border of the tibia
KD-10 YĪNGǓ At the medial end of the popliteal crease, between the semitendinosus and semimembranosus tendons. Locate and needle with the knee slightly flexed
KD-11 HÉNGGǓ On the lower abdomen, 5 cun below the umbilicus at the superior border of the symphysis pubis, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Qugu REN-2)
KD-12 DÀHÈ On the lower abdomen, 4 cun below the umbilicus, 1 cun superior to the superior border of the symphysis pubis, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Zhingji REN-3)
KD-13 QÌXUÉ On the lower abdomen, 3 cun below the umbilicus, 2 cun superior to the superior border of the symphysis pubis, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Guanyuan REN-4)
KD-14 SIMǍN On the lower abdomen, 2 cun below the umbilicus, 3 cun superior to the superior border of the symphysis pubis, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Shimen REN-5)
KD-15 ZHŌNGZHÙ On the lower abdomen, 1 cun below the umbilicus, 4 cun superior to the superior border of the symphysis pubis, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Yinjiao REN-7)
KD-16 HUĀNGSHŪ On the abdomen, 0.5 cun lateral to the center of the umbilicus
KD-17 SHĀNGQŪ On the upper abdomen, 2 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Xiawan REN-10)
KD-18 SHÍGUĀN On the upper abdomen, 3 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Jianli REN-11)
KD-19 YĪNDŪ On the Upper abdomen, 4 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Zhongwan REN-12)
KD-20 FÙTŌNGGǓ On the upper abdomen, 5 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (shangwan REN-13)
KD-21 YŌUMÉN On the upper abdomen, 6 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (Juque REN-14)
KD-22 BÙLÁNG In the fifth intercostal space, 2 cun lateral to the midline
KD-23 SHÉNGĒNG In the fourth intercostal space, 2 cun lateral to the midline
KD-24 LÍNGXŪ In the third intercostal space, 2 cun lateral to the midline
KD-25 SHÉNCÁNG In the second intercostal space, 2 cun lateral to the midline
KD-26 YÙZHŌNG In the first intercostal space, 2 cun laterla to the midline
KD-27 SHŪFǓ In the depression on the lower border of the clavicle, 2 cun lateral to the midline
