Geography The study of Earth
Strait A narrow passage of water between two larger bodies of water
Region An area with common features that make it different from other areas
Landform They are any of the shapes that make up Earth's surface
Tourist It is a person who travels for fun
Climate It is the pattern of weather in a certain place over a long period of time
Precipitation It is any water such as rain, sleet, snow, or hail that falls to earth
Drought A long period of time without rain
Hurricane Severe storms that bring heavy rainfall and very strong winds
Fertile Able to produce
Humidity How much moisture is in the air
What are the three regions of Florida The Central Highlands, the Gulf coastal plain, and the Atlantic coastal plain
