Subcontinent A large land mass that juts out from a continent.
Monsoon A strong wind that blows across East Asia at certain times of the year.
Winter Monsoon Blow from October to May, northeast, spreading dry air across the country from the Himalayas.
Summer Monsoon In the middle of June the summer monsoon blows from the Indian Ocean. It carries moisture from the ocean. The rains drench the plains and river valleys daily.
Citadel A fortress in a city.
Migrate To move from one place to settle in another.
Caste A social class of people.
