Corona | The outer layer of the sun's atmosphere |
Parallax | An apparent shift in the position of an object when viewed from different locations |
Black hole | An object whose gravity is so strong that nothing can escape, not even light |
Sun spot | A cooler darker spot appearing periodically on the sun's photosphere |
Nebula | A large cloud of dust and gas that can break apart into smaller pieces and form stars |
Doppler effect | An observed change in the frequency of a wave when a source or observer is moving |
