Sodbuster | A plains farmer who plows up the ground to plant a crop |
Homestead | Owning a piece of land by living on and farming it |
Dry farming | Farming dry land by planting seeds deep eniugh in the soil to reach moisture. |
Nomadic | Roaming about from place to place |
Relocate | Move to a new place |
Reservation | Goovernment land set aside for Native Americans |
Decoy | Someone or something used to lead another into a trap |
Surrender | to give up |
Retaliation | to repay with injury |
