Climate | the pattern of weather over many years |
Plateau | large flat landform that rises sharply above the land |

Delaware River | river that forms the eastern border of PA |
Appalachian Mountains | oldest mountain chain in the world |
Allegheny Mountains | mountain chain that lines the eastern edge of a large plateau in western PA |
Renewable Resource | type of natural resource that can be replaced |
