3. What were the eventual divisions of writings of the Old Testament? 1. Torah – (means: Guidance, Teaching, Law) consisting of the 5 books of Moses 2. The Prophets – includes major and minor prophets 3. The Writings – (Historical writing) Psalms, Proverbs and other works.
4. What is cultural literacy? Acquaintance with at least the broad aspects of science, the humanities, and the fine arts. it also means familiarity with the beliefs, the social organization, moral traits of a society
