Why is the media referred to as the 4th branch of the government? They observe political process in order to make sure that no one exploits the democratic system (checks and balances). They also play a crucial role in the outcome of political issues and candidates.
What are the provisions of the 14th Amendment? 1. Citizenship Clause - granted citizenship to all persons born or naturalized in the US. 2. The Equal Protection Clause - states may not deny any person the equal protection of the laws.
