In case of Au cas où ( lit in case that)
In the past tense(perfect tense) when do you use etre, and when do you use avoir, when do you use faire? Main verbs used (conjugation) . Avoir is almost always used, with few exceptions(ai, as, a, avons avez,ont ). Être is for verbs used to indicate oneself or each other with s' verbs. Faire , I have done , is often used for the weather
