How quickly can I send out invitations to collect feedback? | Soon as you’re done editing the questionnaire go ahead on Feedback section and Click Add people and follow the on-screen instructions. You can either enter the details of participants on the website or else upload them using our Excel template |
Can the person being assessed update their list of feedback providers? | If participant feedback providers has chosen, it's not currently possible to give them access to update this list directly. If the list of feedback providers is awaiting approval, ask their approver to make updates or ask the project manager to make upd |
Can we compare year-over-year performance? | No, We do not recommend comparing the scores, the main reason for avoiding this type of comparison is because it takes the focus away from the REAL goal of 360 feedback review such as to identify what actions to make for the employee's development. |
Can I ‘set’ the desired performance as administrator | NO, we don't currently offer the ability to set the desired performance, although it is something we are interested in exploring further in future. |
Can I just get feedback on current performance? | Yes, though we recommend comparing current against desired performance. This is because it makes the feedback more useful for the employee, as it can clearly show which areas need the most improvement. |
Why we recommend comparing current and desired performance | By comparing the scores given for current and desired performance, we also find out which areas need the most improvement and this means, we can give a really clear message in the feedback report about where to focus your personal development. |
Why are we called Spidergap? | We use a technique called gap analysis and we used this powerful spidergraph visual when sharing the results from a survey. We combined the words Spider and gap into Spidergap! |

Do you have a question ‘bank’ / other questions I can use to create my questionnaire? | We don't provide a bank of questions, instead, we provide a best practice template as a starting point for your assessment - you can then add, remove or change your own questions using the online designer. |
How do I share the reports with employees / managers? | •Close the assessments for the feedback reports you wish to share •Open the Results page for your project •Click the Share reports... button •Choose whether to share the feedback reports with the Report reviewers or the People who have been assessed |
Is the feedback anonymous? | Yes, feedback is anonymous, however, we advise that the people providing comments should refrain from using unique words or mentioning projects that their working on to avoid selling their selves out. |
Who identifies the feedback providers? / Can I do it? Can the employee do it? Can a manager approve the selection? | Spidergap allows you to either: • Identify feedback providers yourself (as administrator) • Allow employees to identify their own feedback providers. You can easily do that on the Excel file we provided on the feedback section. |
How much does Spidergap cost? | Pricing is based on the number of people assessed. You can either buy an annual subscription, or buy per assessment ('credits'). The cost start at $69 per person assessed but decreases if you buy 50 or more (and decreases further for 100 or more etc) |
How do I add other members of team (e.g. in HR) access to help get this set up? | Give someone access to your organization by: • Click your organization name in the top-right corner • Click Team • Click the green Add user button You can give your colleague Full access or choose to restrict their access to projects or billing. |
Can I set up my 360 in another language (other than English) | We support most language characters, so you can translate: *Questionnaire questions and instructional text *Emails that are sent to participants We are working on support for other languages & we'll announce this update to all users when it's done |
What methods of payment does Spidergap accept? | You can either pay online using your debit/credit card, or you can download an invoice and pay by bank transfer. Credits are added to your account as soon as payment is received. |
Why would I want a subscription? | A subscription allows you to collect feedback about an employee as many times as needed throughout the year without additional costs. |
Is there a limit on the number of feedback providers? | With Spidergap you just pay for the number of people assessed - there's no limit on feedback providers! |
Where user data is stored? | All user data is stored on servers located in Europe and regulated by EU data protection. We take the security of that data, and other data collected through use of the site, very seriously. |
Is there a free trial? | Yes there is a free 5 credits that you can use when testing our tool. |
Is it possible to change the label of the feedback providers on the report? (Is it possible to change the relationship groups of feedback providers on the report?) | Yes, however by default you cannot do it by yourself instead you have to send us a email, requesting on the change you wanna do. |
Is there any commitment (financial / exclusivity) that I have to make to become a partner? | No. We see this as adding value 3 ways - you help our clients get more value out of the tool, which means they are more likely to continue using Spiergap, and more likely to continue working with you. We all win! |
Is there a discount for being a partner? | Yes, there is. We're happy to provide a 15% discount to partners. This discount will be applied to your organization space within Spidergap, and can also be applied to your clients' organization spaces |
As a Spidergap Partner how do I qualify for a discount? | To qualify for the discount, you must simply: - Have at least 2 customer reviews submitted to Spidergap. These should be submitted to Spidergap directly and honestly - Have at least 1 customer review made within the last 12 months. |
Do you offer additional commissions to Spidergap Partner? | No… We don’t do re-sellers. |
As a Spidergap Partner how does purchasing work? Can I purchase on their behalf / Do they need to buy it themselves?How do you recommend I pitch / sell / price this for my client? | We recommend you buy direct from us, & charge your client for the service you provide (including usage of the tool). This avoids the client 2 ask 2 reduce ur fees. Its possible to get your client to buy direct if needed |
Can I be the exclusive partner for location XYZ? | No - we don’t have exclusive partners as we have a range . We also tend to find competition between partners is not an issue - your biggest obstacle is the client deciding not to do the project at all or not to get external support! |

As a Spidergap Partner do I have to tell client about discount I get? | No, it’s up to you. |
Can I white-label Spidergap (remove all logos and mentions of Spidergap)? | Emails and the report can be edited, (including adding your logo) however when conducting the assessment participants will still be able to see Spidergap logo, and will be bound by Spidergap Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. |
