If v and B are parallel Force = 0 cuz sin 0 degrees = 0
If particle is negative, right hand rule results are the opposite of the correct answer

Current I delta q/delta t in Ampere A; opposite of e- flow
F (current) = LIB
B for straight wires = mu I/2(pi)r
B for circular loops = mu I/2r
Loop rule fingers curl in direction of I and thumb = direction of B
