word lesson four vocabulary

TermDefinition
Alignment The way in which the text is anchored (right, left, center, justify)
First-line indent Inserts a blank space between the left margin and the first line of the paragraph
Hanging indent First full line of text in a paragraph at the left margin. All remaining lines are indented
Indent Blank space inserted between left or right margin
Leaders Dotted dashed or solid lines that fill the space before a tab
Line spacing Amount of space between the lines of text
Negative indent Extends a paragraph text into the left margin
