parliamentary democracy a government where people vote for the lawmakers, who then choose the leader

confederacy a type of government where multiple countries work together to form laws that all must follow
traditional economy a when the economic decisions are based on how ancestors have done it in the past
market economy when the economic decisions are decided by private people and businesses
command economy when the economic decisions are made completely by the government
mixed economy when some economic decisions are made by the people and some by the government
tariff a tax put on foreign goods
quota a limit placed on how many foreign goods can be brought in
embargo completely cutting off trade with a foreign country

human capital the skills, training, and knowledge employees need
capital goods the products needed to make other products
entrepreneurship taking a risk and making an investment to start a new business or create a new product
